About Orientation Week Questions

Have you ever stopped to think about the tough and important questions of life? Orientation Week Questions is about giving students that chance to stop and think. We have put together a set of questions that we consider important, and that do require some serious thought.

We know that many people's beliefs are far different from ours. We respect that. For other people, spirituality isn't a big deal. That's fine too. These questions are designed such that anyone should be able to give a genuine answer with a bit of thought (yes, even if you don't believe anything).

We don't want people to just agree with us, we want to hear your well thought-out opinion. This is not a one-stream religious thing either - we are inviting all people from all walks of life to bring out their honest thoughts and opinions. So please don't tell us what you think we want to hear; we aren't interested in that. Just think for yourself.

We are regular university students, members of a student group called Student Life. There are Student Life groups at most university campuses in Australia.
